What Is My Meal Plan, and Should I Follow It?
Your meal plan is designed to help you hit your macro and calorie targets, tailored to support your fitness goals. Coach Michelle will review your information & determine your macros to fit those goals, providing an average daily structure to keep you on track without needing to calculate everything from scratch. You can follow this plan closely to get the best results, but feel free to make small adjustments to fit your preferences, as long as your macros stay aligned with your goals. Please note: This plan is a recommendation and should not override any advice or guidance from your healthcare professional, such as a dietitian or doctor. Always check with them before making significant changes to your diet.
As we work together, your plan can be adjusted as needed to ensure you’re on track and making progress toward your goals.
If you’d like, you can enter the plan into MyFitnessPal or another tracking app to help monitor your progress.

Yes! Logging your meals into MyFitnessPal (or another food tracking app) helps both of us track your progress and make sure you’re staying on target. It’s a great way to stay accountable and make adjustments if needed. If you’d rather not log every single meal, that’s okay too—just keep an eye on your macros and communicate with me if anything feels off!

Recipe books in your fitness app are collections of delicious, macro-friendly recipes designed to support your fitness journey. Each recipe includes a breakdown of ingredients, step-by-step instructions, and nutritional information, like calories, protein, carbs, and fats.
-
Identify Adjusted Ingredients: Start by noting any changes you made to the recipe (e.g., swapping chicken for beef or increasing pasta from 55g to 75g).
Use a Food Tracking App: Input the updated ingredient amounts into a food tracking app like MyFitnessPal or Cronometer. The app will calculate the new totals for calories, protein, carbs, and fats based on the changes you made.
Add the Remaining Ingredients: Don’t forget to add any ingredients that you didn’t change to ensure the full recipe is accounted for in your tracking.
Sum It Up: Once all the ingredients are entered, the app will give you the updated macros for the entire recipe. Then, divide by the number of servings to find the macros per portion.
This approach helps you ensure your meals are perfectly aligned with your fitness goals, even when making modifications!

At this time, my app doesn’t allow you to adjust recipes directly, but I highly recommend using MyFitnessPal for this! MyFitnessPal makes it easy to log meals and customize recipes by adjusting ingredients and portion sizes to fit your exact needs. Plus, it helps you track macros and calories with precision, making it an excellent tool for staying on top of your goals. It's user-friendly, has a massive food database, and even allows you to save your modified recipes for future use. This is an app that you can use even after coaching to help you stay on track with your goals. Definitely worth considering!
